60KV Ground-Wire Insulator Zero-Value Detection Robot

This is a live-line insulator test robot for suspension disc porcelain strings. It uses 60 kV high-voltage impulse testing to screen electrical condition on site. The goal is to flag “zero-value” units—insulators that have electrically failed, even when they still look normal. The robot clamps onto the string, runs the test, and returns a clear Pass / Fail result in real time. Designed for routine live-line insulator condition checks, where teams need results that go beyond visual inspection. The impulse-based test returns a clear Pass / Fail output.
