This permanent full repair system is designed to restore broken outer strands on overhead ground wires, including OPGW (Optical Ground Wire), across 110–500 kV lines. It uses a clear two-robot workflow, built for repeatable field execution.

Strand-Alignment Robot — 

Strand Lay-In & Temporary Holding Robot brings separated strands back into the strand lay and holds them in position. This creates a stable base for the final repair.


Splice-Sleeve Wrapping Robot — 

Preformed Helical Repair-Rod Wrapping Robot applies a controlled wrap of preformed helical repair rods (also commonly referred to as repair rods / armor rods, depending on construction) to complete the restoration. The system uses preformed helical repair rods, with OPGW-matched sets available.

For long spans and difficult terrain, the package includes a DJI hoisting UAV to lift and place the robots onto the wire. This makes deployment faster when ground access is limited.
